This build requires: SECRETS OF THE OBSCURE, VISIONS OF ETERNITY
Balance Patch: 2026-07

Introduction

Quickness Ritualist does not require specialised boon duration gear and works well with other builds that are power-based.

The build provides boons and most importantly quickness just by summoning spirits. The uses of offhand sword allows for systematic upkeep of  Relic of the Claw.

Build

Rotation

Precast/Opener

Summon Minions first if any.

  1. Precast Weapon spells
    • Splinter Weapon
    • Nightmare Weapon
  2. Use all your off-hand sword skills (Activates Claw Relic)
    • Hungering Maelstrom → Gormandize
    • Devouring Visage → Consume
  3. Enter Shroud
    • Life Siphon
    • Ritualist's Shroud

Rotation

Shroud/Quickness Rotation

  1. Use all your shroud skills until you cast Anguish twice
    • Use skills 1-5 on cooldown
    • Use Innervate Anguish on cooldown
    • Reserve Innervate Preservation for stability
    • Reserve Innervate Wanderlust during Exit Ritualist's Shroud
  2. Innervate Wanderlust + Exit Ritualist's Shroud

Weapon DPS rotation Use your DPS skills until you cast Life Siphon twice

  1. Life Siphon

  2. Repeat Precast/Opener

    Click for Recap
    1. Cast your Weapon spells
      • Splinter Weapon
      • Nightmare Weapon
    2. Use all your off-hand sword skills
      • Hungering Maelstrom → Gormandize
      • Devouring Visage → Consume
    3. Enter Shroud
      • Life Siphon

      • Ritualist's Shroud

The entire rotation can be summarised into two lines:

  • Weapon rotation: use your damage skills until you cast Life Siphon twice.
  • Shroud rotation: use your shroud skills until you cast Anguish twice.
  • You may Innervate Preservation (F4) to reduce your inputs which may increase your DPS if you are having problems executing the build fast enough.
  • Reserve Innervate Preservation (F4) for stability

Crowd Control

Using a CC skill can increase  Relic of the Claw buff uptime, spaced out in the rotation.

  1. Devouring Visage moments before entering shroud.
  2. Innervate Wanderlust when exiting shroud and has no cast time.
  3. Summon Spirits as part of your shroud rotation.
  4. Use Charge for on-demand CC.

Crowd Control

This build has a good amount of might generation for solo play. Replace one of your weapon skills with other utilities like summons for group play.

Benchmark

The benchmark is performed by Shinokage with ascended food and gear without infusions. You should be able to break 26k easily as this number is not grinded for. The build does more damage in actual fights due to allies than on the golem. You may bench higher when you replace one weapon skill with minions. The damage numbers on ArcDPS may not be accurate when there are other ritualists in the same subgroup.

  • Update Oct 2026: F4 has been removed from the rotation to reduce the number of inputs and simplify the build. The increase in APM in our pulls (due to familiarisation) resulted in higher DPS and the numbers have been adjusted to reflect this.
